Illinois Vintage Racing was started by Art “Fireball” Ferhman to bring back the “good old days” of stock car racing in the Illinois and central Midwest area. Other areas of the country have developed similar programs with great success and we believe that with the rich heritage of Illinois racing, and a little (ok, a LOT) of work, Illinois Vintage Racing can be the premiere location for this type of racing. We hope this web site will serve as a central location to share information and help anyone interested to participate.
