Our Second Induction Ceremony and Banquet will be held Sat April 13th, 2013 at the Hoffman House/Holiday Inn at 7550 East State Street in Rockford, IL. A discounted block of rooms have been set aside at the Holiday Inn. Rooms need to be reserved by March 13th by calling 815-398-2200. {The Holiday Inn/Hoffman House is located at the I 90 State Street Exit, 1 block west of the Toll Road}. Social Hour is at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm and Awards presentation to follow. Tickets are $35.00. Order early as they are limited. Deadline is April 1, 2013.

2 drivers from each region will be inducted and one selection from the other three categories will be inducted. The Official Ballot to vote on these nominees will be included in the up coming December HOF Newsletter. If you have not already done so please send in your 2013 dues or sponsorships with your ballot so your vote is valid. Ballots need to be postmarked by January 15, 2013.

We wish to thank our members and sponsors for supporting the HOF, without you we would not be gearing up for our Second Induction Ceremony. As soon as all dues and sponsorships are received and the votes are counted we will begin ordering the plaques. The 2013 Induction Ceremony will be at the Hoffman House/Holiday Inn on Saturday April 13, 2013 located at 7550 East State Street in Rockford, IL. Illinois Stock Car Hall of Fame Announcement
The Hall of Fame inaugural ceremony will be held Saturday Night, April 14, 2012 at the Forest Hills Lodge. The lodge is located adjacent to Rockford Speedway. The festivities will consist of cocktails, dinner and induction ceremony. During the ceremony, 12 drivers, 1 promoter, 1 announcer and 1 car builder will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame will be located at Wayne Lensings Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe, Il. Wayne is opening his museum on Saturday at 11:00 am for Fans, Inductees and their Families to tour the Hall of Fame display as well as all of the other fabulous displays in the museum. An afternoon reception will be hosted by the Hall of Fame Board Members welcoming the inductees and their families.
Rockford Speedway will have their 35th Annual Late Model Spring Classic the next afternoon, Sunday April 15th. New to the schedule will be the Illinois Vintage Racing Series. The 25 lap Feature will be the Inaugural Hall of Fame Classic featuring the 50’s & 60’s cars and legends of the Finest and Fastest Vintage cars in the Midwest. This Feature event will cap off a Historic Gala Weekend event for Illinois StockCar Auto Racing. Hotel discounts will be available for families who want to attend both Saturday and Sunday events.
A $20.00 Yearly Membership in the Hall of Fame is a great opportunity for local racing fans to have input in the choosing of
inductees. Yearly Sponsorships are also available for a minimum $100.00 donation. Membership and Sponsorship money will be used to fund the Hall of Fame awards and display.
Illinois will be divided into 4 regions. Each region will have nominees for each category. 2012 Ballots will be mailed in the fall of 2011. Members will also be able to suggest a nominee per category for future inductees.
A Quarterly Newsletter will be sent to all members and sponsors along with a membership card and a sticker. Each member and sponsor will be acknowledged in our newsletters and induction program.
